A warranty should be simple, clear, and there when you need it. Wine-R provides a 2-year limited parts-only warranty with support across Canada and the United States, focused on keeping your cellar running the way it was designed to run.
Register your Warranty
Register your Wine-R warranty within 30 days of purchase to activate your coverage. You'll need your serial number, purchase details, installation photos, and installer information.

When installed according to our Installation & Care guide in a properly built, insulated wine room, the WR2500 is covered by a 2-year limited parts-only warranty. That means if a covered component fails within the warranty window, we repair or replace the part or the unit at our discretion. Proof of purchase and serial number help us verify coverage quickly.
Warranty service is available across Canada and the United States, with an extended network of retailers and our own specialists to support your installation, diagnosis, and repairs.
Two straightforward options
Workshop swap
Bring the unit to our workshop. We provide a replacement on the spot when coverage is confirmed. Send the unit only unless we request otherwise. Keep the grille, frame, drain kit, and controller to speed things up.
Ship for repair
Ship the unit to us. We repair and return it, typically within about two weeks after arrival. We share shipping instructions when the request is approved.

Designed for real cellars
Coverage applies when the system is installed and used as intended in a properly insulated and sealed wine room, with a clear exhaust path and a connected drain. These basics protect performance and make service rare. If your plan includes glass, insulated double-pane or IGU and tight seals help maintain stable conditions. For sizing, use the BTU calculator and build to R-20 or higher as outlined in our Installation & Care guidance.
This is a parts-only warranty. The following are not covered:
- Labor, installation, removal, and reinstallation costs
- Contractor or technician fees related to accessing the unit
- Shipping or transportation arranged by the owner
- Damage from improper installation, poor insulation, oversized or unsealed rooms
- Cosmetic wear, accidental damage, or modifications
- Mold, mildew, or moisture damage from improper room construction
- Commercial use
- Service by anyone other than Wine-R or a Wine-R authorized technician
The owner is responsible for ensuring the unit is accessible for any warranty service, including removal from the wall if required.
Warranty Conditions
- Warranty applies to the original purchaser only and is non-transferable.
- Registration at wine-r.com/warranty within 30 days of purchase is required to activate coverage.
- Defects must be reported in writing within 15 days of discovery.
- Shipping damage must be reported with photos within 48 hours of delivery.
Limitation of liability
Wine-R’s maximum liability under this warranty shall not exceed the original purchase price of the product. Wine-R is not responsible for any incidental, consequential, special, or indirect damages, including but not limited to loss or damage to wine, water damage to property, loss of use, or costs incurred by the owner for installation, removal, or third-party services. Some provinces or states do not allow the exclusion of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation may not apply to you.
